<p>The Stockbridge bakery that always has a queue (and rightly so) is expanding. Lannan’s new pantry next door will stock premium, seasonal produce from Natoora, Bowhouse and George Bowers Butchers – basically all your gourmet cravings under one roof. Opening&nbsp;<strong>28 Oct</strong>.</p>

<p>From the team behind Yamato (next to Edinburgh’s Cameo cinema), Nishiki brings izakaya-style small plates, sleek Japanese-meets-Scandi interiors, and even a breakfast menu (because sushi before 10am should be a thing). A must for fans of minimalist design and maximal flavour.</p>

<p>Ignore the giggle-inducing name – in Cantonese,&nbsp;<em>fook</em>&nbsp;means luck and&nbsp;<em>mei</em>&nbsp;means taste. This new noodle and sando bar in The Barras is the latest venture from the team behind Ho Lee Fook. Expect their iconic tonkatsu pork belly sando and a menu packed with Hong Kong-inspired comfort food.</p>

<p>An Italian-American hybrid serving beef shin ragù, loaded pizza fries and fried chicken with ranch sauce? Yes, please. We don’t entirely know what to expect – but that’s half the fun.</p>

<p>Proof that porridge is Scotland’s true national dish. Visit New Abbey Corn Mill to watch traditional oat milling and rolling in action – because breakfast deserves its own festival.</p>

<p>If ever there was a night made for food lovers, this is it. The Free Company’s hosting the team from the <strong>Kinneuchar Inn (Fife)</strong> for a one-night takeover. This feast marks the first lamb of the season – an autumn feast thanks to the Free Company’s slower growing flock. Head Chef, Craig Turner collaborates with the Kinneuchar Inn’s James Ferguson to cook a three-course feast over fire, in a celebration of the best of autumn. Tickets £60.</p>
