<p>“Bryte coffee is so much more than a commodity,” says Sam Robertson, Founder of <a href="http://brytecoffee.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Bryte</a>, a new speciality coffee brand, based in St Andrews, which launched in 2025. And he’s right.</p>

<p>The first coffee of the day. The house is still. The inbox is unopened. The to-do list hasn’t started shouting yet. You wrap your hands around that warm mug, take a sip and savour it.</p>



<p>“This is coffee as a moment of mindfulness,” says Sam. “Perhaps it’s part of a morning ritual, a moment where we can be present and at peace.”</p>



<p>There’s something deliciously grounding about the sensory ritual of grinding the beans and smelling the bloom of fresh coffee as hot water hits. That process alone is a screen-free act of mindfulness – a small but powerful way to, as Sam describes it, “reclaim our presence and regulate the pace of a busy day.”</p>
