<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-ladies-day-the-main-character-energy-event">LADIES DAY: THE MAIN CHARACTER ENERGY EVENT</h2>



<p>If there’s one date to circle in red pen, it’s the Scone International Horse Trials’ Ladies’ Day. Part style showcase, part social event, part excuse to finally wear <em>that</em> outfit hanging in your wardrobe, Ladies Day has become one of Perth Racecourse’s most anticipated fixtures – and this year there’s even more reason to bring your fashion A-game.</p>



<p>Because it’s not just the horses being judged. Throughout the day, Perth’s eagle-eyed team of fashionistas will be working the crowds and scouting standout looks, with ten finalists shortlisted for the ultimate Best Dressed Lady 2026 title. Shortlisted style stars will then be invited into the main arena for the final judging – so yes, there’s every chance your race day outfit could end up centre stage.</p>

<p>Perth Racecourse sits somewhere beautifully between polished and approachable. Ladies Day, as we’ve said, naturally invites a bit of effort (go big or go home), but for standard racedays we’re talking occasion dressing with practical footwear.</p>



<p>So unless you have the lawn striding skills of the Princess of Wales, choose block heels over stilettos. The look is definitely tailoring, florals, linen, sunglasses and a jacket for later. And yes – Scottish weather remains committed to keeping everybody humble, so pack accordingly.</p>
